Once I started working for Jenkem, I knew I wanted to do a piece with my childhood friend turned skateboarding superstar, Mariah Duran. I got the chance in 2020 to spend a day with her, her brother Elijah, and more of our friends skating ditches, eating sandwiches, and watching Mariah totally eat it during our hike to watch the sunset.
