AI has been one of the hottest topics over the last few years with fears and predictions about the tech being at the forefront of people’s minds. But these kinds of conversations have been taking place since AI’s beginning in the 1950’s. To compare the current day to to how people felt at this origin point, I dove into Fortune’s 1964 article that spoke with prominent computer scientists of the time to get their thoughts on what the future would look like.
