About Me:

Hi, I’m Alex and I work with media outlets to tell captivating visual stories. My work’s been enjoyed by millions and helped outlets grow and strengthen their audiences by hundreds of thousands of people.

I got my start in 2007 by documenting my friends skateboarding. Shooting skate photos and videos was where I found my love for cameras and editing, and inspired me to learn more throughout high school and college.

After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Arts in 2017, I began working in marketing-centered roles providing in-house teams with outstanding video content. For the last 6 years, I’ve focused my creative efforts on documentary and journalism, combining my skills in videography, editing, and motion design to tell the stories that I want to see told on the internet.

I’ve covered stories across science and culture from ongoing protests to unknown history to our changing climate. I’ve produced 100+ non-fiction videos from start to finish, I’ve become an “Adobe Suite Wizard” (co-worker’s words, not mine), and I’ve interviewed dozens of people from small business owners to Tony Hawk.

Currently, I work as a freelance Video Producer and Editor with recent projects coming out with the creative and influential minds at Vox and Howtown.
